Elizabeth Charnysh, MS, CGC is a CT-licensed, certified genetic counselor and Clinical Research Project Manager at The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine in Farmington, CT. Ms. Charnysh previously worked as a GC II providing cancer genetic counseling services to patients within the Smilow Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program at Yale-New Haven Health. With an interest in genetic counseling-oriented research, she moved into her with The Jackson Laboratory in 2023, and has provided overall project management for the R01 study, "Ethical, Legal, Social and Policy Implications of Workplace Genetic Testing" (ELSI wGT). She has also contributed to study instrument development, creation and implementation of IRB protocols and materials, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, writing and dissemintation for the ELSI wGT project. Elizabeth looks forward to learning from the experience of other ELSI researchers at ELSIcon.
