Dr Mia Thomaidou is post-doctoral research fellow at the Rutgers University, School of Criminal Justice. She has a background in neuroscience and her current work focuses on applications of science in the context of criminal behavior, punishment, and sentencing. Dr Thomaidou received her PhD in behavioral neuroscience in the Netherlands. She holds a BSc in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Westminster in London and two MSc degrees, in neuropsychology and in criminal justice. Her main interests revolve around research methods and data science at the intersection of bio-behavioral science and criminal justice.
