Before studying bioethics at master's and doctoral levels, Marie-Françoise studied biochemistry and molecular medicine, business school management and genetic counselling. A diversified career path, but one that unknowingly prepared her to integrate multidisciplinary work teams into her research career. Interested in the integration of new technologies into the healthcare system, her main research activities focus on the ethical and patient-centric development of voice biomarkers. She is also working on integrating AI considerations into public policy, in addition to carrying out research projects on ethical issues related to transplantation.
