Harris T. Bland (he/they) is a Sr. Project Manager in the Center for Precision Medicine, Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Harris spent 6 years in anatomic/clinical pathology before moving to Nashville in 2016. At Vanderbilt, Harris has focused on the integration of data into the EHR. He has been the project director for Vanderbilt eMERGE (Electronic Medical Records and Genomics) Network and FOREST (Family History and Cancer Risk Study), both U01 funded grants through NIH. Additionally, Harris is a current PhD student at Vanderbilt, advised by Drs. Lea Davis and Nancy Cox. His research interest is in the intersection of sex-specific hormones, gender, and genetics.
