Diba Seddighi graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Health Equity. She is currently a postbaccalaureate research fellow within the Health Disparities Unit of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the National Institutes of Health. Diba is passionate about research that lies at the intersection of social justice and medicine, and her current research focuses range from social networks analyses of community-based participatory research to analyses of the use of race within clinical algorithms. Next year, Diba will be pursuing her MSc in Global Health from Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey through a Fulbright fellowship.
