Emerson Dusic, MPH, is a fourth-year PhD Candidate in Public Health Genetics in the School of Public Health. Their research interests are healthcare accessibility and health disparities among historically marginalized populations. Their academic experience has emphasized community advocacy in health research and participatory research methods. Through their work as a Graduate Research Assistant on several projects at the University of Washington and the University of Michigan, they have developed their skillset as a mixed-methods researcher.
