Tamar Schiff, MD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Medical Ethics in NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Department of Population Health. She is trained as an internal medicine physician. Her postdoctoral research focuses on development of ethically informed policy and practice guidelines, primarily in the domains of transplant ethics, reproductive ethics, and novel research design. Dr. Schiff directs the division’s Advanced Ethics Education Program, which offers intensive certificate courses on advanced topics in bioethics. She is also co-host and co-producer of “CoreIM: At the Bedside,” a podcast exploring literature and expert guidance on the ethics and emotions of clinical practice.
